As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the flavors and ambiance that await you at this establishment. Jose O'Shea's specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine and features a fantastic selection of cocktails, making it a perfect spot for casual brunches, laid-back dinners, or festive gatherings with friends.

One of the standout features of Jose O'Shea's is its extensive menu, which showcases classic dishes crafted with fresh ingredients. For brunch lovers, the Huevos Rancheros and Chorizo Mexican Skillet are must-tries, each bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. Not to mention, the atmosphere is as delightful as the food, with decor reminiscent of lively Mexican streets, accented by playful designs that create a joyful dining space.

  • Cocktails: The drink menu features refreshing options like the strawberry margarita, touted for its real strawberries rather than syrups, alongside other delightful beverages that pair perfectly with your meal.
  • Guest Experience: Patrons have shared rave reviews about the attentive service and the overall enchanting vibe of the restaurant, filled with light despite having some ambiance challenges during peak hours.

However, not everyone is completely enamored; some guests have noted that a few items felt processed. But overall, the service and atmosphere more than compensate for any minor quibbles. The vibrant community that frequents Jose O'Shea's further enhances the experience, making it a beloved local gem.

In summary, Jose O'Shea's is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Mexican flavors and community spirit. Atmosphere is wonderful. Food needs to be fresh. Some of the items seemed processed or store bought. Drinks were good and reasonable priced.

Really good really fresh food. The choices of sauces were great. I like hot and my husband likes no heat, so to be able to have the same dish with different sauces was great. Portions were huge so great value for the price and bonus meal the next day! Service was attentive and our server was very helpful in explaining the questions we had about the menu since it was our first visit. There were lots of skylights and windows but each seemed to have something blocking the ambient light, so for an early afternoon it was pretty dark in there, that was the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. When we walked in we thought maybe it was closed. His strawberry margarita was amazing. Looked like they used fresh strawberry's rather than mystery purée. Looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.

I've been here once when I moved here 5 years ago & I remember how beautiful this place was. So, My choice for lunch today for Cinco Eve was here. The server was attentive, even with having so many people up in the top part. The Piña margarita was great. Food was great. The atmosphere is really gorgeous. Honestly one of the prettiest Mexican restaurants I've been to around Denver. Prices were normal for this quality & atmosphere.

Passing this place a while back, I knew I had to try it. Finally, months later, I've found my way to Jose O'sheas. The dining rooms remind me of Casa Bonita with all of the different themes and decor. It's so fun and cool! The staff were friendly and I loved the attentive service. Carnitas Chile Verde. A massive portion for only $13 and so good. The carnitas were tender and the special sauce was to die for. Absolutely delicious and a must try on the menu. I'll definitely be back!

I wish this place was closer to our house because we would go a lot more often than we do now. When we lived in Littleton we used to go quite often, but now living in Aurora, it is a trek. But we love their happy hour so much! They offer server yourself chips and salsa. All you can eat for free. They have cheap (under $5) margaritas and $2 crunchy tacos along with other cheap bites. Great small bites to help with all the tequila you are drinking. Lol. The building is pretty big and has tons of seating. Upstairs is the cantina that is great for watching football games. Downstairs has a fun vibe to it with tons of cactus and other plants for decoration. Plenty of places to sit and even good for large groups. The food is always delicious and comes out in large portions piping hot. I love the fajitas and the enchiladas ol'e (trio of enchiladas all different fillings and sauces on top). My husband always gets a giant burrito that he can never finish. Always have leftovers and those taste great too. Overall, this place is a good stop for some tasty Mexican food.
